Friends, family and teammates said goodbye to Chris Henry a few hours ago. With the police still investigating what happened, a funeral was held in his honor where many spoke fondly of him, and how they will miss the Cincinnati Bengals standout. An emotional speech from Chris Henry’s weeping fiancee capped the tearful funeral service as the American football receiver’s teammates and friends paid Henry a final tribute.

Chris Henry died last Thursday, a day after suffering serious injuries after falling from the rear of a moving pickup truck during what police described as a dispute with fiancee Loleini Tonga.

“Can’t nobody feel what I’m feeling right now,” Tonga said. “We loved each other very much. People say I helped change his life. No. He changed mine. We were supposed to get married in three months but I’m going to wait until I see him again.”

I do not usually watch videos/clips like this one but curiosity got the better of me, and paid
dearly for it. Until now, a good hour and a half after I first laid eyes on this footage, I still get goosebumps recalling what I saw. I am talking about the horrible accident of Derrick Roland on court against Washington in Seattle. The Texas A&M ace went up for a shot but landed badly and one of his legs snapped. You can even hear the sound of the bone breaking on the video (or was it just my imagination). After he fell, and obviously in a great deal of pain, the scene was horrible. You can see it from the screen cap above, with his foot seemingly dangling from his leg. Ouch!

Thus, Arsenal has no choice but to field its young guns in this match against Olympiakos. It’s a no-bearing match for Arsenal, really, so they have nothing to worry about. The Gunners have already qualified for the knock out stage by winning Group H.
