Shareholders Meeting, watch The Office season 6 episode 11
Nov 19th
What zany antics will we be subjected with in this week’s installment of The Office? After last week’s murder mystery party, which I think was one their better episodes this season, a Shareholders Meeting is the the subject of season 6 episode 11 (s06e11) as Micheal ifs called to attend the corporate event in New York City by CFO David Wallace. And it looks like Michael will be honored at the said event. This sends the wacky branch manager into a frenzy, inviting Andy, Dwight and Oscar to come along. Will the Shareholders Meeting turn out as expected, or will Michael and the gang be disappointed with the result? Let’s all
find out together when season 6 episode 11 airs tomorrow. It promises to be another hilarious one.
Watch Shareholders Meeting, The Office season 6 episode 11 (s06e11) online. More The Office season 6 episode 11 (The Office: Shareholders’ Meeting, s06e11) online videos will be posted below soon when they become available. For now, here are more details about this week’s The Office episode 6.11 installment from online spoiler sites. Please check back for more.
Michael (Steve Carell) gets excited when he’s invited by David Wallace (Andy Buckley) to be honored on stage at the Dunder Mifflin shareholder meeting in New York, and he brings Andy (Ed Helms), Dwight (Rainn Wilson) and Oscar (Oscar Nuñez) along for the ride. Meanwhile, Jim (John Krasinski) has a hard time getting Ryan (B. J. Novak) to do work.
Meanwhile, here is the RECAP of last week’s episode, The Office season 6 episode 10:
The day gets off to a rocky start when rumors from the Wall Street Journal point to financial troubles for Dunder Mifflin. In an attempt to get the worried staff under control, Michael and Jim call the monthly staff meeting to provide what few assurances and optimistic viewpoints they can on the steadily worsening news. In a moment of quick thinking, Michael pulls out a party game, Belles, Bourbon, and Bullets, and forces the rest of the staff to play along. Jim tries to stop him, citing that today is one of the few days they cannot afford to play around, but is reminded that he owes Michael ‘one’ after he stopped another idea called “Tube City.”
The staff slowly warm up to the game, which is a murder mystery/dinner party. The game is set in Savannah, Georgia, and everyone has to find out who amongst the party goers is the murderer (from clues and questions they are given). Thanks to Pam, Andy and Phyllis, the game quickly becomes a hit. Almost everyone present starts to play along, except for Oscar (who tries to get updates on the situation from corporate) and Creed(who shows up late to work and leaves after being told he is a suspect in a murder). Shortly thereafter, the mystery party is in full swing, much to the disdain of Jim, who thinks the entire exercise is pointless.
Throughout the game, Andy is trying his hardest to make a move on Erin, and with the possible impending closure of Dunder Mifflin, decides he needs to make a move now. While ‘in character’ he asks Erin out for a weekend date, but becomes unsure if he really asked her out, or if he just simply asked out her murder mystery character, “Naughty Nelly.” He is worried that Erin only said yes because Naughty Nelly, a promiscuous, flirtatious, and scandalous woman, “says yes to everyone and might be a murderer.”
Right as the game seems to get interesting, Oscar returns and reveals even more bad news from corporate. Accounting has been notified to stop payments to vendors, which is in Oscar’s words “unprecedented and should be a cause for concern.” This brings the staff out of the game and back to the scary reality of losing their jobs. Michael tries to win them back, but accidentally skips to the game’s conclusion, revealing who the murderer was (Phyllis). The now ruined game comes to an abrupt end, and all the worse with an even more stressed out staff. However, Michael refuses to give up, and continues playing the game with Dwight.
After the game, Andy and Erin meet at the receptionist desk, where Erin asks him about the upcoming date between them. Andy, thinking the date is between the two characters from the mystery party, fumbles and awkwardly tells Erin there was no real date (although he really wanted one). In the immediately following silence, Erin leaves Andy at reception to tell the camera crew she thought the date was real and was excited for it, but is visibly disappointed that it was all “just part of the game.”
In a vain attempt to salvage the day, Michael tries to introduce another murder and other twists to the story to pull his staff back into the party. This infuriates Jim to his breaking point, and they hold a private talk in Michael’s office. Michael stands his ground and points out to Jim “they need this game” or they might cave in under the impending bad news, and possible closure of Dunder Mifflin. CFO David Wallace finally returns the phone calls to Jim, and reveals that while nothing has been officially decided yet, Dunder Mifflin is expected to be insolvent by year-end. Knowing how damaging this could be to his staff, Jim deliberately hides this news from them and nudges them back into the party. At the end of the day, Jim is “happy that we have two co-managers today,” realizing it helps having someone to distract people from pressing issues.
At the end of the episode, Michael, Dwight, Andy, and Pam find themselves in a fake Mexican standoff lasting until 6:00 at night. Jim pulls Pam out so they can go home, and the others pretend to shoot each other to death.
UPDATE: No video of the episode is yet available online. We ill post it here once available. For now, here is the RECAP of Shareholders’ Meeting:
Michael gets excited when he’s invited by CFO David Wallace to be honored on stage at the Dunder Mifflin shareholder meeting in New York. He brings Andy , Dwight and Oscar along for the ride in the limo that was sent, making Oscar wonder why the company would spend money on sending a limo when it’s about to go bankrupt. Oscar is further baffled at the fact that they
booked a huge conference room for the meeting. Andy suggests that Oscar take a stand, but Oscar refuses to for fear of losing his job. When the meeting begins, the podium, which Michael is a part of, is greeted by jeers, which is not what Michael was hoping for. Michael is commended by the CEO for his ability to maintain profitability with the Scranton branch. When the meeting appears to be going nowhere, the podium takes a break, but not before Michael gives the crowd the false hope of a 45-day plan to fix Dunder Mifflin.
Meanwhile, Jim has a hard time getting Ryan to do work, as Ryan sees no point since the company is on the verge of closing. Ryan sends an email around the office regarding Jim’s lack of authority over the office, prompting Phyllis to take a two hour lunch break. Jim thinks that he needs to make an example of Ryan in front of everyone, which Pam doesn’t think Jim is capable of doing. Jim ultimately decides to give Ryan his own new personal office space in the small closet in the kitchen and shows it to him in front of everyone.
Back in New York, David Wallace is asking Michael what his 45-day plan is for the shareholders. Michael doesn’t have an idea, so he calls Oscar into the hotel room for some suggestions. Oscar, however, doesn’t give any suggestions, so the former U.S. Congressman presiding over the meeting calls Michael an idiot and takes away his limo privileges. Michael, however, sneaks away with Dwight, Andy, and Oscar into their limo and drive out of the city. The camera catches a glance at the stock market ticker, where the Dunder Mifflin stock price continues to drop to $1.17 a share.

Everyone else in the office eventually return Dwight’s favors in the form of a Starbucks gift card, which is not what Dwight was hoping for. Dwight and Andy have Michael believing an insurance saleman is a Mafioso. Pam has a painting accidentally destroyed by Erin.
UPDATE: Recap of The Office, Mafia, courtesy of Wikipedia:
Michael (Steve Carell) meets with an insurance salesman named Mr. Grotti (guest star Mike Starr) that visits the office and is later convinced by Dwight (Rainn Wilson) and Andy Bernard (Ed Helms) that he is part of the mafia. Oscar (Oscar Nunez) tries to convince them otherwise to no avail, and later notes that since Jim (John Krasinski) and Pam (Jenna Fischer) are on their honeymoon in Puerto Rico, the “coalition of reason” in the office is very weak. Oscar tries to call them about the situation but they urge him not to bother them on their honeymoon unless it’s a dire emergency. When Mr. Grotti calls for a lunch meeting with Michael to finalize a deal, Michael asks Dwight and Andy to accompany him to the lunch meeting.
Andy comes disguised as a mechanic and brings a tire iron so he can hit Mr. Grotti, in the event he tries to harm Michael. At the lunch meeting, Mr. Grotti successfully convinces Michael to sign the deal despite reservations from Dwight and Andy. A woman with her child at the restaurant then asks Andy, mistaking him for an actual mechanic, to help jumpstart her car, to which he is unable to actually do so. Michael later starts feeling guilty about the situation, particularly since it cost so much, so he calls Jim for help, but Jim blows him off by pretending to lose his signal and hangs up on him. Dwight and Andy then tell Michael that Mr. Grotti wasn’t part of the mafia, and that he was just scaring Michael into a deal. Michael calls Mr. Grotti to cancel the deal, much to Mr. Grotti’s dismay. When he hangs up, Dwight and Andy say that he was part of the mafia and congratulate Michael on standing up to him. When Michael announces this to the rest of the office, Oscar says that he was an actual insurance salesman from Liberty Mutual, but Michael ignores him.
Meanwhile, Kevin (Brian Baumgartner) uses Jim’s office to pass gas in and eventually sets up a temporary workspace in there. Jim’s credit card company calls his office phone inquiring about some unusual charges and Kevin uses one of Jim’s pay stubs to give them his address and the last four digits of his social security number. They say that there have been charges that occurred in Puerto Rico and that they will cancel his card. Kevin tries to stop them after realizing his mistake, but to no avail, and Oscar tells Kevin he just committed identity theft. At the end of the episode, Kevin calls Pam to admit what he did, but after receiving a harsh message from Pam to not bother them during their honeymoon, especially after receiving information that their credit cards were canceled, he instead just tells her to say hi to Jim, without them knowing it was his fault.

The Office Wedding: Jim and Pam’s big day at Niagara Falls
Oct 9th
It’s the big day for Jim and Pam as they finally tie the knot, and the gang from Dunder Mifflin is present to celebrate it with them, though the couple tried to get the farthest place possible to get away from them.
Looking for Jim and Pam’s The Office wedding video? Jim and Pam’s wedding at The Office (season 6 episode 4,5) at Niagara Falls is one of the highlights of the season. Posted below is a recap of the event courtesy of Wikipedia. Video to follow when available.
Jim and Pam head up to Niagara Falls for their wedding and the rest of the office follows them. Michael had failed to make a reservation at the hotel they’re staying at so he is forced to sleep in the ice machine room. He and Dwight plan to hook up with as many attendees as possible, while Andy tries to pursue a relationship with Erin. Kevin and Oscar meet Pam’s sister Penny, who believes Kevin is Oscar’s boyfriend Gil, insulting Oscar.
Everyone except Pam’s grandmother “Meemaw” is aware of her pregnancy so they are told not to mention it. However, during a toast, Jim lets it slip while raising glasses that Pam shouldn’t drink and Meemaw asks why. After a few feeble attempts at trying to cover it up, Jim is forced to announce that Pam is pregnant and Michael tries to defuse the situation to no avail. Meemaw then gets upset at Pam for getting pregnant before the wedding and that she won’t be at the wedding. Pam gets mad at Michael and Jim, but Michael successfully convinces Meemaw to stay, telling her that they might be naming the baby after her.
Andy has a dance party in his room, trying to impress everyone with his dance moves and ends up hurting his scrotum trying to do a split, so he asks Pam, the only sober person, to take him to the hospital. Pam calls Jim for assistance, but he is out drinking with Michael and Dwight, so she drives him. At the bar, Michael and Dwight try to find people to hook up with. Michael is unsuccessful, but Dwight manages to get together with Pam’s best friend, Isabelle. In the morning during breakfast, Dwight talks about his hookup with Michael, saying that it won’t lead anywhere, but Michael berates him for having that mentality.
At the church, Pam accidentally tears her veil when she learns that Dwight had hooked up with her best friend. She calls for Jim to tell him how upset she is that things didn’t go the way she wanted them to and that they invited too many people to their wedding. Jim cuts off part of his tie to make her feel better and the two secretly run away together. While everyone in the church wonders where they went, Michael and Pam’s mother have a conversation about their past romances, with Michael upset over Holly and Pam’s mother upset over the fact that her ex-husband is at the wedding with a much younger woman. Kevin comes to the wedding wearing a toupee and tissue boxes as shoes, after the hotel had them destroyed because he left them in the hall and had smelled profusely. Erin comforts Andy after hearing about his injury while sitting next to each other during the ceremony.
Jim and Pam come back after an hour away and keeping everyone at the ceremony waiting impatiently, and they then begin the ceremony, where everyone starts dancing down the aisle in the same way featured in the youtube video, which Jim and Pam had asked everyone not to do. Kevin trips and falls during the routine and Dwight accidentally kicks Isabelle in the face. However, it is revealed in a flashback that when Jim and Pam ran away for an hour, they boarded the Maid of the Mist and got married on board by the ship’s captain underneath the falls. Jim says that he bought tickets for the boat after seeing the YouTube video and anticipated that everyone would do the same thing. Jim and Pam then kiss at the alter, and everyone in the ceremony claps and smiles at the new couple. The camera then cuts to a brief scene with Jim holding Pam close to him and with her head on his shoulder, as they look out into the distance at Niagara Falls. Jim then looks back and smiles.
At the end of the episode, Kevin is shown putting his bare feet in the ice machine after wearing his tissue box shoes around all day, while the camera catches a glimpse of Pam’s mother bringing a reluctant but smiling Michael into her hotel room.

Sep 21st
After enjoying their first offering of the season with Gossip (read the recap HERE), what is in store for us in the next installment? Definitely, more fun and laughter. In an episode entitled The Meeting, here is a short teaser: “Jim makes a request to Michael that leaves him feeling insecure and defensive. Pam tries to deal with the guest list for the wedding and Dwight talks Toby into investigating Darryl’s worker’s comp claim.” Find out more (and laugh out loud as well) when The meeting airs this week.
The summary of this week’s episode is posted below. As this entry is written before the show airs, no preview video is available. Watch The Office season 6 episode 2 (6.02, The Meeting) online video below. Watch out as The Office The Meeting, season 6 episode 2 online, videos (s06e02) are posted here soon. For now, here is more of the episode’s story.
A request by Jim (John Krasinski) leaves Michael (Golden Globe winner Steve Carell) feeling insecure and defensive. Meanwhile, Pam (Jenna Fischer) deals with the guest list for the wedding, and Dwight convinces Toby (Paul Lieberstein) to investigate Darryl’s (Craig Robinson) worker’s comp claim.
UPDATE: Here’s the RECAP of The Meeting.
Michael (Steve Carell) becomes nervous when Jim (John Krasinski) has a suspicious meeting with CFO David Wallace (Andy Buckley). He constantly tries to intrude into the meeting, with his last method being sneaked into the meeting in a cheese cart made by Andy (Ed Helms). David asks to see Michael after finishing up with Jim, where Michael explains his worry that Jim is trying to take his job. David actually explains that Jim had an idea to make the branch’s workload more feasible as the Scranton branch had taken a set of clients in the wake of the Buffalo branch’s shutdown, an idea that included Jim being promoted to Regional Manager. Michael, not wanting to lose his job, tells David that Jim wouldn’t be suitable for that position by showing David a file on how much Jim slacks off. However, David mentions Jim suggested that, in addition to his own promotion, Michael also be promoted to oversee all Northeast sales, but if Michael would not take the promotion, then Jim would accept a job offer somewhere else. Michael is surprised, but David asks Jim to walk him to his car, where he tells him that he has changed his mind without explaining why. Michael, watching Jim and David from his window, notices a downtrodden Jim and says to the camera that he feels responsible.
Meanwhile, Darryl (Craig Robinson), wearing a green football jersey, is talking to Toby (Paul Lieberstein) about how he fell off a ladder trying to reach a particular item and broke his leg when the ladder fell on him and wants to put in a claim for workers’ comp. Dwight (Rainn Wilson) overhears him and tells Toby that there’s no way that could have happened. When they go to the warehouse to see where it happened, they see that the ladder he would have used to get what he wanted is too short to have done any particular damage, and Toby starts to believe that Dwight may be right. Dwight and Toby stake out Darryl’s house where they share a nice moment before finding someone wearing a green football jersey carrying a big bag of dog food without crutches. Thinking that person is Darryl, they drive to the house and Toby shouts an obscenity, but they see that the person is not Darryl and the real Darryl comes out, still on crutches. They try to flee the scene, but crash into Darryl’s trashcans on the street. Dwight and Toby drive back to the office where Darryl confronts them, angry at the fact that Toby shouted at his sister, the other person with the green jersey, and threatens to file complaints on both of them. (Darryl’s jersey is #94 and a lighter shade of green; his sister’s jersey is #12 and a darker shade of green.) Dwight and Toby go back to the warehouse to apologize, where Dwight sees that employees are misusing a lift as an elevator and a railing at the top of the stairs was replaced, leading Dwight to believe that Darryl misused a lift. Darryl admits this and Dwight decides to complain about Darryl’s falsified complaint. Darryl retorts by deciding to complain about sexual harassment against his sister. Toby tries to convince them that they should let it slide rather than drown in paperwork. Later, Toby is shown writing up both complaints.
Pam (Jenna Fischer) is trying to get RSVPs for the wedding. She and Jim purposely chose Niagara Falls as their wedding location in the hope that their coworkers don’t come, but Michael allowed people to take the Friday and Monday of their wedding off so they could attend. Kelly (Mindy Kaling) says she will only go if Ryan (B. J. Novak) goes. Ryan says he will go so Pam checks off both Ryan and Kelly. Meredith (Kate Flannery) asks Pam to send her directions via text message on the morning of the wedding. Additionally, Meredith says she wants the fanciest meal there, unless there are ribs. Pam and Angela (Angela Kinsey) comment on how unreasonable Meredith is being. However, as Pam sits down, moving a purse, Angela rudely notes she had put her purse on the chair.
Jim confronts Michael after coming back in, and Michael ultimately says that he believes Jim should be promoted. Jim asks Michael to call David back, and David is confused as to why Michael changed his mind after citing Jim’s previous work ethic. When Jim hears this, he becomes upset that Michael would try to sabotage him. When Michael tries to apologize, David calls Michael back and asks to speak with both him and Jim. David proposes that Michael and Jim be co-managers of the Scranton branch, with Michael handling clients and Jim handling day-to-day operations. Michael and Jim accept the offer and announce it to the rest of the office, and Dwight is shown screaming in anger and astonishment.
