I do not usually watch videos/clips like this one but curiosity got the better of me, and paid
dearly for it. Until now, a good hour and a half after I first laid eyes on this footage, I still get goosebumps recalling what I saw. I am talking about the horrible accident of Derrick Roland on court against Washington in Seattle. The Texas A&M ace went up for a shot but landed badly and one of his legs snapped. You can even hear the sound of the bone breaking on the video (or was it just my imagination). After he fell, and obviously in a great deal of pain, the scene was horrible. You can see it from the screen cap above, with his foot seemingly dangling from his leg. Ouch!

A desperate pass, that’s what it was. But it ended up winning the game for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Roethlisberger ended the game the way he started it by throwing a touchdown pass to Mike Wallace, a desperation 19-yarder on the final play that rallied Pittsburgh to a 37-36 victory over Green Bay on Sunday that ended the Packers’ five-game winning streak and the Steelers’ five-game losing streak.
