For the very first time since Michael’s death, Janet Jackson will sit down and talk about it, among other topics, when she gets interviewed by Robin Roberts of ABC. Slated to be aired later today, In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: Janet Jackson will attempt to dig deep into the life of Michael’s sister. “The intensely private pop star, who was known to be extremely close with her brother Michael, will allow cameras in her Malibu home for the first time ever.”
Janet Jackson paid tribute to her late brother in September at MTV’s Video Music Awards.
She opened the event and danced to a recording of their duet Scream but did not address the audience. It is widely known how private Janet Jackson is compared to her siblings. This interview will be the first time she will discuss how she feels about the loss of her superstar brother and who she thinks is responsible.
The interview will also promote the release of Number Ones, a compilation CD of her hits featuring her old and new songs such as Together Again and Feedback.

Michael Jackson movie, THIS IS IT, tickets now on SALE!

THIS IS IT is coming to a theater near you. The movie is built around the King of Pop’s rehearsals for his London concerts. This Is It offers a behind-the-scenes footage of Michael preparing for a series of shows at the famed O2 Arena in London. He was rehearsing when he died on June 25. It compiles more than one hundred hours of video footage concert promoter AEG Live shot during April, May and June 2009. Directed by Kenny Ortega, the King of Pop’s documentary movie will be released in theaters across the world for a limited two-week engagement starting on October 28.
And now, Sony Pictures are making tickets available to Michael Jackson’s fans for the limited two-week run of the movie. But with the clamor for more tickets increasing (Los Angeles tickets have reportedly been sold out in a matter of two hours), I think they may have to extend the movie’s theater run to accommodate the King of Pop’s fans. This is, after all, the King of Pop’s last performances before he died on June 25.

The singer revealed in his historic 1993 interview that the discoloration resulted from a skin disease called vitiligo. At that time the interview was aired, and even a couple of years later, the disease was relatively unknown. It caused quite some controversy, and doubts. And the abuse he allegedly received at the hands of his father was horrible, saying later that he often cried from loneliness. Plus, Oprah speaks about where she was and how she felt when she heard the tragic news.

Have you seen this? Apparently, the video just came out because it has only a few hundred hits on YouTube. But I first came to see it when it was featured on Yahoo!. Simply awesome!
I cannot even find the right words to describe it. I am sure you will find a hard time describing it as well because it is the best remix of the King of Pop’s songs I have seen, ever!
I don’t even know what the video is called. Michael Jackson remix video by Ricardo B., Michael Jackson remix tribute video, or Ricardo B’s Michael Jackson remix video – which one is it? But that’s immaterial, really. What’s important is that the video is awesome and everybody should get to see it. And who is Ricardo B? Is he the singer in the video, or the brains behind it? Whoever you are, congratulations! This is a magnificent tribute to the King of Pop.

Finally, the King of Pop was buried. Elizabeth Taylor, Barry Bonds, Macaulay Culkin, Lisa Marie Presley, Corey Feldman, Mila Kunis, Chris Tucker, Al Sharpton and many more of his friends attended the ceremony at Forest Lawn Glendale with the air scented with smoke from the California wildfires. Despite the relatively hot and humid weather, his friends waited for the ceremony to begin. And they waited for more than an hour as the Jackson family arrived very late fir the event.
The Michael Jackson funeral/burial (video below) was a solemn event (watch the Michael Jackson burial/funeral video by CNN below). Around 250 seats were arranged for the
ceremony and the event was filmed through an overhead crane, leading some to speculate that part of the event will be used for a later show or movie. The public was not allowed inside and, apart from friends and family who had invitations, only the media was allowed inside though kept well away from the main area by barricades.
Michael Jackson now shares Forest Lawn with other departed celebrities like Clark Gable, Jean Harlow and W.C. Fields, entombed alongside them in the mausoleum that will remain off-limits to the public.

25th Anniversary Michael Jackson Thriller album cover released

Can’t believe it, they’re re-releasing Thriller with the same old songs from the original and additional materials in celebration of its 25th anniversary. Wait. What 25th anniversary? Wasn’t it the original released in 1982? That means the 25th anniversary was two years ago, right? Well, it doesn’t really matter as long as it’s Thriller, the album that made the King of Pop unreachable as the premiere pop superstar of our generation.
I remembering saving up for Thriller when I was in school. And I didn’t just want the locally
made album sold in our country. I wanted the original, the imported one from the USA. Never mind if it was three times more expensive. I wouldn’t settle for anything less. And when I finally got it after saving lunch money, I was beyond thrilled. That album was a treasure for me and I enjoyed it immensely. I still have it, hidden in my room even though our record player broke down years ago. I will value the new Thriller album as well.

Debbie Rowe sells Jackson’s kids again, custody battle averted

The much-anticipated custody battle for Michael Jackson’s children will no longer happen. This after Debbie Rowe, two of the kids’ mother, has allegedly sold her parental rights to the Jacksons for a whopping $4 million. Rowe has sold her kids again.
Days after Michael Jackson died last June 25, 2009, speculations were rife that the two eldest kids’ biological mother would fight for their custody. A Los Angeles court granted temporary custody to the three Jackson children and the King of Pop himself granted it through his will to his mother Katherine. Media
reports, however, claim that Debbie Rowe would fight for the kids. This was further bolstered by claims of her attorney that Rowe would indeed want to have custody of the children.
But now, the New York Post claims that a settlement has been reached between the two parties. No custody battle will ensue and Rowe has surrendered all her parental rights to the children to the tune of $4 million:
After the birth of son Prince Michael, now 12, and daughter Paris, 11, she agreed to allow Jackson to raise them in exchange for a lump sum of $8 million, plus $900,000 annually for five years, the source said.
When Jacko was accused of child molestation in 2001, Rowe resurfaced to reclaim her rights. But she wound up giving her ex-husband full custody of the kids anyway — in exchange for another $4 million plus a $900,000 home.
This time around, she is forfeiting her restored parental rights to Jackson’s mom, Katherine, in exchange for yet another roughly $4 million, the family source said.
“This would be it. This takes away any rights she has to challenge custody at any given time,” the source said.

Looking for a video replay of the Michael Jackson memorial service? Michael’s funeral/memorial service will be remembered for a long time, not just for the performances
that we loved and raved about, but for the outpouring of love and grief that we witnessed. However, despite the sadness that we witnessed in the memorial/funeral service, it was a celebration of the King of Pop’s life that we saw.
Will there be a Michael Jackson memorial service repeat? Is there a chance to see it again, a replay? John Mayer with Human Nature at Michael Jackson memorial

John Mayer performed Human Nature, one of Michael Jackson’s hits, as his memorial/ funeral service last night. It may be Mayer’s tribute to the late King of Pop. However, the first thing that entered my mind when I saw him on stage was “Why?” I’m sure many of your asked yourselves the same question. What was he doing in Michael’s memorial, and performing at that!
I never knew he was close to the King of Pop. If he wasn’t, then I ask the question again, why? Sure John Mayer was there to performs Human Nature but it was a vocal-less performance. He only
played solo on the guitar, complete with exaggerated expressions. They could have asked the band’s soloist to do that and it wouldn’t have made a difference.
