Just before taking a mid-season/Christmas break, Melrose Place dishes out more drama and intrigue in the episode entitled San Vicente: When their wedding plans become too much of a hassle, Jonah and Riley decide to drive to Las Vegas to elope. But it doesn’t quite go as planned because Ella tells Jonah that she has arranged a pitch meeting for him with an important producer who is interested in buying his film that very day. Meanwhile, Lauren calls David after she gets in trouble with one of her male clients who man-handles her. Auggie confesses his true feelings for Riley. Elsewhere, Michael gives David
information about Sydney’ killer and Amanda bonds with Violet over Sydney. But naturally, the evil Amanda has an ulterior motive in getting to know Violet in order to find something that the late Sydney has been hiding from her.

The diva is back! This week in Melrose Place sees the return of the original vamp of the show Heather Locklear as Amanda, and she wastes no time in making her presence felt. She sashays back into the agency she owns and starts firing people, with a warning to Ella that she may be next. What else will Amanda’s return bring to Melrose Place? Here are some more details from season 1 episode 10 (s01e10): Ella and Caleb are stunned when agency owner Amanda Woodward walks into WPK and immediately fires half the staff, including Caleb. Amanda
makes it clear to Ella that the Anton V launch party with Riley better go off without a hitch or Ella can vacate her office too. Meanwhile, Auggie finally succumbs to Violet’s flirtatious ways and David asks Lauren out on a date.

Remember Melrose Place in the 90’s? The drama revolving around a group of young adults living in an apartment complex? Sure you do. Who can forget the lying, cheating, stealing, seduction, backstabbing, betrayal and sex, and Heather Locklear? Well, that television drama has been remade with a new generation of young professionals living at the infamous Melrose apartment complex. And what can we expect from this new edition? More lying, cheating, stealing, seduction, backstabbing, betrayal and sex. And if we’re lucky, Heather Locklear will return sometime during the season.

The pilot introduces us to the new tenants in the apartment complex and the start of more drama and intrigue weekly. Posted below are videos of the pilot and a summary of the first installment. Watch out for the online release of the full episode video soon.

In an elegant Spanish-style apartment building in the trendy Melrose neighborhood of Los Angeles, a diverse group of 20-somethings have formed a close-knit surrogate family. Sydney Andrews is the landlady, still beautiful at 40, and a central figure in the lives of all her tenants, especially handsome and rebellious David Breck. Sydney started an affair with David despite her turbulent history with his estranged father, Dr. Michael Mancini. Both father and son learned through experience that Sydney was not above using blackmail to control people. Another tenant, high-powered publicist Ella Simms, once considered Sydney her mentor, but their friendship was destroyed by betrayal, and Sydney threatened to evict Ella and ruin her career. Sydney also played a pivotal role in the career of Auggie Kirkpatrick. After they met at an AA meeting, she became Auggie’s sponsor and encouraged his dream to become a chef. Now a successful sous chef at the trendy restaurant Coal, Auggie has been avoiding Sydney since she began drinking again. The other tenants include Lauren Yung, a medical student in desperate need of money to pay her student loans, and Jonah Miller, an aspiring filmmaker who has just proposed to his live-in girlfriend Riley Richmond, a first-grade teacher. The newest tenant, 18-year-old Violet Foster, has just arrived in LA with her own secret connection to Sydney. When a bloody body is found floating in the courtyard pool, David is the leading suspect. However, as the police are soon to discover, almost everyone living at Melrose Place had a reason to want the deceased out of the way.
