Another week, another exciting episode. Can’t wait to fins out what happens this this week’s installment of this new series? It’s only in its first season but it has already carved a niche on television. Here is what’s in store for us this week: The National Gymnastics Championship in Boston has arrived and now everything the girls of the Rock have been working for is at stake. Can Emily pull it together on the biggest stage of her life? Can Lauren put aside her anger towards…everyone and pull off a gold medal winning meet? Can Payson get past the back pain and finally beat Kelly Parker on the National
stage?

Everything the ladies of The Rock have been working towards is finally here with the beginning of the National Gymnastics competition in Boston. Payson is more determined than ever to beat Kelly Parker and grab the National Champion title she deserves, even if she is still dealing with back pain. Kaylie feels pulled in many different directions — is she a normal teenager with a boyfriend, as Carter wants her to be, or is she an Olympic caliber gymnast, as her father wants, and can she figure it all out in time to compete? Lauren’s angry attitude towards her mother, her father and Carter leaves her with a lack-luster performance which could risk her position in the standings. Emily, on the other hand, is petrified and fears that she is clearly over her head at this high stakes competition. Can Sasha get all of the girls in line and focused for the big event in time or will Nationals be a disaster for The Rock team?

Another week, another dramatic episode from one of the favorite shows on television today. Where’s Kaylie is the title of Make It or Break It episode 9 (s01e09). Watch Make It or Break It online videos or read the recap as follows: “After the disastrous party at the Cruz mansion, no one is in the right mind to focus on Nationals. Payson, feeling vulnerable with her back injury, is defensive about her position on the team; Emily is struggling with the re-appearance of Chloe’s old boyfriend, Joe (guest star Brad Rowe); Lauren faces the possible return of her mother; and Kaylie is miserable about the fight between her father
and Carter. But when Carter comes clean to Kaylie about his infidelity, Kaylie disappears. Having to put their own worries and issues aside, the other three try to track her down to make sure she doesn’t miss Nationals and her only shot at the Olympics. But can they find her in time and become the unbeatable team they need to be to dominate at Nationals? Meanwhile, Sasha is tipped off to Carter’s extra-curricular gym activities and puts down a firm hand.”

Run Emily Run, that’s the title of Make It or Break It episode 7 which airs this week as the the girls continue with struggles in the world of competitive gymnastics. But the drama of sports is not their only concern as life outside gymnastics has its share of problems and intrigues. Here is what we can expect this week: “After the devastating loss to the Denver gym, The Rock intensifies its training for Nationals. Adding to the pressure is the arrival of a television crew to do profile pieces on the girls and a pushy sports agent who only sees financial opportunities coming out of the gym. While most girls shake off the agent’s
advances, Payson sees her arrival as a chance to help her family out of a sticky financial situation, but will Payson’s parents see the agent’s plans as a godsend too? Meanwhile, Emily has to face the music after her disastrous performance at the invitational meet. Determined to still go to Nationals, she has to figure out a way to convince Sasha to let her back on the team.”

Emily is determined to get back into the team while M.J a sports agent comes to The Rock to film and ask questions to the team. Then Emily shares her problems to Damon who then helps Emily by helping her sneak into the gym at night. Meanwhile, Payson, Kaylie, and Lauren go to the Pizza Shack where they inadvertantly run into Payson’s father who, unbeknownst to Payson’s mother and family, has lost his job and now works for a company delivering beer. This threatens to tear the family apart, but Payson’s father decides to return to his old job in Minnesota and be a “commuter” instead of taking up M.J.’s offer to get Payson endorsed, which would come with significant financial benefits but would also make Payson ineligible for a college scholarship if things in the gymnastics world were to go awry. Emily then masters a difficult move and comes to The Rock to show Sasha and the rest of the gymnasts. Emily and Sasha have an argument and Emily leaves. After going to the playground to practice, her mom comes to her and talks to her about moving to Las Vegas. Then that night she goes to Sasha’s trailer and tells him to give her a chance and he finally agrees to coach her. Then they go the gym at night and practice little while and Sasha tells Emily to do a stunt she cannot do and she denies. She tells him she has to be headstrong and that she can’t trust anyone. He says Emily has to trust him and she agrees. Later she goes to the gym and practice and M.J asks Emily when they can do a video profile together and Emily finds out she’s back on the team to go to nationals. She tells leaves to tell Damon and the hug and share their fears along with a romantic moment.
