Entitled Love Among the Ruins, this week’s installment promises to be another gem. Unfortunately, the episode is questions is yet to air as of this writing. Mad Men season 3 episode 2 online / Mad Men s03e02

Betty gets a visit from her father. Sterling Cooper grapples with a very specific client request. Roger makes arrangements for a wedding. Peggy becomes personally affected by a campaign.

Ann-Margret belts out the title song of the film musical Bye Bye Birdie. Ken, Sal, and Harry, viewing the clip with Peggy in the conference room, find the star’s routine sexy. A prospective account, Patio Cola — Pepsi’s new diet soda — wants a campaign with a similar look, but Peggy questions whether this is the best way to target female consumers.

Pete brings representatives of Madison Square Garden into Sterling Cooper. They’re seeking to outmaneuver opponents of their plan to raze Penn Station — deemed by many an architectural masterpiece — and replace it with their arena. Paul alienates the businessmen by siding with the protesters.

Lane announces that the London office has lost the Campbell’s Soup UK account. The real problem, however, is that Sterling Cooper never scheduled a meeting with the company’s American operation. “Perhaps I should drag Burt Peterson in and fire him again?” quips Roger when Lane demands an explanation.

Don and Betty join Lane and his homesick wife, Rebecca, for dinner. “I didn’t want to be there anymore than you did,” Don tells Betty on the drive home. Her main preoccupation, though, is her father: He’s sick, and his companion, Gloria, has left him. Betty wants her dad to visit the Drapers for a few days.

Can’t believe the long wait is over. After ten months of absence from television, John Hamm and the rest of the cast are back for more drama and intrigue. Mad Men season 3 is here! Entitled Out of Town, the first episode involves the following: Pete and Ken are among those
affected by the corporate changes at the firm; Sal accompanies Don on a business trip to Baltimore, where both men succumb to the powers of persuasive seduction. What how this story unfolds as season 3 premieres.

“The second season ended with 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis where the Sterling Cooper ad men were fearing to lose their jobs amid the nuclear war. Since the story line reflects many actual happenings in the real world, there is a chance that the third season will jump two years ahead to 1964. Creator Matthew Weiner said that he did not want to explore the John F. Kennedy assassination that occurred in 1963.

In the end of season 2, Betty also came clean about her pregnancy. Weiner has confirmed that it would be her husband, Don’s, baby despite that fact that she slept with a random guy at a bar. There will also be a fresh face when the show returns. Jared Harris, whose credit includes “Fringe”, will join the cast as the new chief financial officer at Sterling Cooper.”
