The new domain is designed to shut out child porn and make it harder for children to find sexual content onlineA new internet domain especially for pornography is set to go ahead after the official name .xxx was approved by US authorities as an alternative to suffixes such as .com or .co.uk.Amid controversy over the concept of creating an “online red light district”, proponents of the domain argued it would help to regulate adult entertainment content and keep it further from the eyes of youngsters.The domain, Dot Triple-X, was approved by the international Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (Icann), which administers millions of internet addresses. Icann’s governing body gives green light to new suffix that will enable creation of web-based red light districtPlans to establish a new internet domain specifically for pornography are to proceed after internet regulators approved the .xxx suffix for adult entertainment sites, three years on from a decision to block the move.Proposals to create a new adults-only domain date back as far as 2003 when moves to open up the number of major domain names were announced by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (Icann), which administers millions of internet addresses.However, Icann blocked the plan in 2007 after long deliberations and threats in the US from the Bush government, which opposed the creation of .xxx on moral grounds and said it would override Icann if necessary.On Friday, the board of Icann said that it would allow the .xxx domain to be overseen by ICM Registry ” the backer of the scheme ” although a number of board members reportedly opposed the resolution.The backers of the scheme said that it will provide reassurance to those visiting pornography websites that they are protected from the risk of viruses, identity theft, credit card fraud and inadvertent exposure to child abuse images.They also claim that it will provide individuals and parents who wish to avoid adult entertainment sites the opportunity to filter out unwanted .xxx material.Anti-pornography campaigners argued that the move legitimises the sex industry, and it also drew criticism from some parts of the adult entertainment business, who said that forcing sex sites into a specific corner of the internet would inevitably increase censorship.PCmag.com reported that one Icann board member who opposed the resolution said that .xxx would encourage filtering and, ultimately, censorship.”I believe that the creation of .xxx would mark the first instance of an action by this board that may directly encourage such filtering,” said George Sadowsky, a US computer scientist.”In my judgment, the board should not be taking actions that encourage filtering or blocking of a domain at the top level. NBC is all set to launch its annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. A sneak peek of the highly-anticipated event has been released by the network
and it shows Spiderman airborne over New York once again, and a new Santa float making its return. Watch the video previews below.

Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2009 route. The route of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will be a little different this year. Hosted by Meredith Vieira, Matt Lauer and Al Roker, will bypass Broadway from 58th to 34th including TImes Square. After 82 years the Parade will be moving from Broadway to a new route along 7th Ave.

The Parade begins at 77th Street & Central Park West at 9am. The Parade will march south on Central Park West. At Columbus Circle, the Parade will then turn EAST onto Central Park South instead of heading down Broadway. When the Parade reaches 7th Avenue, it turns south at the corner of Central Park South and march to 42nd Street. The Parade will then travel east along 42nd Street from 7th to 6th Avenues. At 6th (Avenue of the Americas), it veers south to 34th Street. At 34th Street it heads west to Macy’s Herald Square and ends at 34th Street and Seventh Avenue at around noon.

Mya and Dimitry topped the last round with a score of 87 out of a possible 90: a perfect 30 for their Salsa, 29 for Cha Cha Cha and 28 for Waltz. Meanwhile, Donny Osmond and his partner Kym scored relatively dismally compared to the other finalists but made it to the final round due to a strong fan base. Their
scores of 27 for Jitterbug, 26 for Samba, and 21 for Tango were the lowest of the lot. The third finalist is Kelly Osbourne and partner Louis who scored 78 points for the round. How will they do in this round? Let’s all find out when the finale airs later today.

As always, talk centered on the rumored romance of the two principal actors off-screen. Is the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart romance true? Jimmy Kimmel was curious as well and he had to ask. “I know you guys don’t like to talk about personal
relationships and all that stuffs,” Jimmy said before turning to Taylor and asked, “So Taylor, what’s going on with these two?” Taylor answered amid laughter, “I wish I could tell you”.

They also talked about Taylor Lautner’s transformation from Twilight to New Moon, and the actor said that the hardest part was actually not the work out but the eating. As he had said a couple of times, he had to “put something” in his mouth every two hours in order to gain mass.
