Critics’ Choice Awards 2010 nominations / nominees LIST

In a few hours from now, one of the loudest collective voices in entertainment in the United States and Canada will be heard. It is at this time of the year that they announce their choices for the best in movies for the year that was. Who are they? The critics, of course. 200 film critics that make up the Broadcast Film Critics Association, the largest film critics organization in the US and Canada, will announce their choices via a list of nominees that will be read out later today.

This was what Chris Brown revealed in a recent interview with Robin Roberts on ABC’s 20/20. It a fact previously unknown to the public
about him and Rihanna after the infamous February altercation. The song that he is talking about is Changed Man, one of the songs in his Graffiti album to be released next week.

2009 National Board of Review Awards winners announced

One of the first to hand out their prizes this year is the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures, otherwise known as the NBR. Their choices for the best work in films every year are often a good gauge on who will get similar nods from the bigger, more prestigious and more coveted award-giving bodies in Hollywood. Thus, this signifies that the motion picture awards season is officially open with the different award-giving organizations either handing out their annual honors and citations or getting ready to announce their nominees for the best in films for
2009.
For this year’s edition of the National Board of Review awards, Up in the Air was named Best Picture and won a total of four awards including Best Actor for George Clooney. Another big winner was Invictus which won Best Director honors for Clint Eastwood and Best Actor for Morgan Freeman (shared with Clooney).

Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2009 online live stream/route

It’s that time of the year again, Thanksgiving. And before anything else, I’s like to send out my Thanksgiving greetings to everyone reading this. The family gatherings, the food, the parties. Unforgettable scenes replicated and outdone every year. But aside for Thanksgiving itself, there are two other events that most of us look forward to at this time of the year – Black Friday and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
NBC is all set to launch its annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. A sneak peek of the highly-anticipated event has been released by the network
and it shows Spiderman airborne over New York once again, and a new Santa float making its return. Watch the video previews below.
Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2009 route. The route of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will be a little different this year. Hosted by Meredith Vieira, Matt Lauer and Al Roker, will bypass Broadway from 58th to 34th including TImes Square. After 82 years the Parade will be moving from Broadway to a new route along 7th Ave.
The Parade begins at 77th Street & Central Park West at 9am. The Parade will march south on Central Park West. At Columbus Circle, the Parade will then turn EAST onto Central Park South instead of heading down Broadway. When the Parade reaches 7th Avenue, it turns south at the corner of Central Park South and march to 42nd Street. The Parade will then travel east along 42nd Street from 7th to 6th Avenues. At 6th (Avenue of the Americas), it veers south to 34th Street. At 34th Street it heads west to Macy’s Herald Square and ends at 34th Street and Seventh Avenue at around noon.

Who will win Dancing with the Stars season 9? We will find out later today as the three finalists show us what they’ve got for the final competition round with a Tango Tap Out, Freestyle and their favorite dance of the season.

No, it’s not Fashion Week and it’s not one of the “regular” fashion events held annually at the Big Apple. But the following it has commended over the years has been short of phenomenal. And why not, it’s Victoria’s Secret fashions the sexy girls are wearing on the catwalk. And not just simple fashions but stunning and sexy lingerie worn by the most beautiful women in fashion today. And don’t forget the wings, the angels wings that has been a trademark of the fashion event. In all shapes and colors, regally
spread behind a model’s back as she struts on stage in a sexy lingerie to the shouts of the appreciative audience.
This year, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is another blockbuster as you will witness from the videos and pictures posted below. Heidi Klum, for one, the superstar of them all, strutted her stuff only five weeks after giving birth to her daughter. Never mind that she still has some of that post baby pounds, Heid just looked amazing. Musical performers include The Black Eyed Peas.

With the opening of The Twilight Saga: New Moon on Friday, the cast is busy making the rounds of television shows – Ellen DeGeneres, Today Show, Good Morning America, David Letterman, Jay Leno, etc. But only one show got to have all three major stars of the movie as guests at the same time – Jimmy Kimmel Live.
As always, talk centered on the rumored romance of the two principal actors off-screen. Is the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart romance true? Jimmy Kimmel was curious as well and he had to ask. “I know you guys don’t like to talk about personal
relationships and all that stuffs,” Jimmy said before turning to Taylor and asked, “So Taylor, what’s going on with these two?” Taylor answered amid laughter, “I wish I could tell you”.
They also talked about Taylor Lautner’s transformation from Twilight to New Moon, and the actor said that the hardest part was actually not the work out but the eating. As he had said a couple of times, he had to “put something” in his mouth every two hours in order to gain mass.

During the interview, Bieber shared how he ended up collaborating with Usher. “Usher and my manager were watching music videos on YouTube and he flew me back to Atlanta where I got to sing for him.” And, Usher gushed, “He had two million viewers before I even said hello. It was truly his talent, truly on spot.”
