Despite the announcement of a cancellation, Eastwick continues on television showing the rest of the episodes for the season. For their next installment, it’s an episode entitled Tasers and Mind Erasers.

In Eastwick’s second installment of the season, Roxanne, Joanna and Kat continue to be drawn to each other and to unleash powers they never knew they had, thanks to Darryl who secretly manipulate them. As the their lives continue in this quit town, the three women discover more about their surroundings and the many issues that continue to unfold before them, while Darryl watches in the background. Entitled Reaping and Sewing, season 1 episode 2 (s01e02) involves the following: “As Kat gathers the courage to break free from her unhealthy marriage to Raymond, Roxie tries to protect her daughter from a hounding
ex-boyfriend. Meanwhile, Joanna and Penny attempts to uncover the truth behind Darryl Van Horne’s identity by seeking the help of a town recluse.”

As Eastwick prepares for its annual fall HarvestFest, Joanna, Kat and Roxie’s lives continue to take a turn for the strange. Distracted by distressing psychic visions of her new neighbor, Jamie, Roxie struggles to protect Mia from harassment by her ex-boyfriend, Gus. As Kat gains the courage to end her own toxic relationship – her marriage to Raymond – he’s back in their home to recuperate from being struck by lightning. And while Joanna worries that Will’s romantic attentions are only due to her hypnotic power, she and Penny embark on a perilous mission to uncover Darryl Van Horne’s true identity. Joanna finds Milton Philmont, a retired Gazette reporter who years ago wrote about the death of a man named Sebastian Hart – a man who looks uncannily like a young Darryl Van Horne. Armed with an old photo of Hart with three beautiful women, she and Penny seek answers from the eccentric and reclusive Eleanor Rougement.
