After their disastrous loss to Tottenham Hotspur almost two weeks ago, Manchester City has recovered well, winning its next two assignments against Sunderland and Stoke City. It now looks forward to continuing this streak with its visit to Wolverhampton as the club gears for a top four finish this season.

Wolverhampton, on the other hand, does not have the same luck as their opponents. The club is wallowing in relegation country, just a few points above the current bottom three of
Hull City, Bolton and Portsmouth. Wolves, therefore, look forward to stopping their skid and boost its chances of Premier League survival this season.

Manchester City’s new manager, Roberto Mancini, got off to a winning start on Boxing Day when his side defeated Stoke City 2-0. As he prepares for his first away game, Man City remains within striking distance of the top four. City is at 32 points at present, trailing current fourth place Tottenham by five with a game in hand.
