Liverpool needs a win badly. After ending their Champions League campaign on a losing note against Fiorentina earlier this week (at home at that!), the boys from Anfield need a morale boost and a win against Arsenal tomorrow is what they need.

And they just might get it. Arsenal have not won at Anfield in the League since October 2003. In five subsequent meetings they have drawn two and lost three. Last season’s meeting was remarkable, a 4-4 draw in which Arsenal’s Andrei Arshavin scored four goals and still failed to finish on the
winning side. Add to this the Gunners’ injury woes and Liverpool’s chance of notching a win is very high indeed.
