American Airlines Flight 331 (AA 331) crash lands in Jamaica
An American Airlines plane flying from Miami has overshot the runway in Kingston. According to reports, the plane overshot the runway but came to a complete stop several meters away with passengers able to get off the plane immediately. However, there are reported injuries. According to some reports, around 40 passengers were injured, some seriously. No fatalities have been reported so far.

arrive at Norman Manley International Airport at 10:27 PM. American Airlines spokesman Charley Wilson said it was almost a full flight that normally carries 140 passengers plus the crew. Many of those on board were holiday makers out to enjoy the warmer weather in the Caribbean this Christmas break.
