It’s results time at Dancing with the Stars 2009 (season 9) and it came down to three couples dancing three dances each – the Paso Doble, the Fresstyle and the Favorite Dance of the season. The scores in these three numbers combined plus the viewers’ votes will determine the champions on DWTS this season and take home the mirror ball trophy. So who will it be?

First to dance was Kelly Osbourne and her partner Louis Armstrong doing the Argentinian Tango. The earned both praise and criticism and a score of 26 out of a perfect 30. Mya and Dimitry
danced next and, as expected, got a perfect score of 30 for their Paso Doble. The last for this round was Donny Osmond and and Kym Johnson doing the Cha Cha, for which they earned a 27.

The same pattern of scoring was repeated in the megamix as the three pairs showed the judges and the audience what they could do. Kelly, Donny and Mya received scored of 26, 28 and 30 respectively for this round. However, in the last round, the Freestyle, there was some change in the scoring. This time, it was Donny and Kym receiving the prefect score with Mya getting a 27 and Kelly Osbourne getting a low 24.

Who won Dancing with the Stars 2009 (DWTS season 9 results)? Who’s the DWTS winner for season 9/2009? The results and winner of DWTS 2009 is either MYa or Donny Osmond, in my opinion. And it is up to the viewers to determine that. Frankly, Mya should win because of her grace and consistency throughout the season. Donny does have the bigger audience approval so it might still be him. But please, not Kelly Osbourne! I don’t even understand how she got this far.

We will have the results in a few hours. Check back for it.

UPDATE:

The new champion of “Dancing with the Stars” who takes over the disco ball trophy from last season’s winner Shawn Johnson is Donny Osmond. The so-called “showbiz legend” surpassed judges’ expectation and beat her sister Marie Osmond who finished third in the fifth season. This is also the first win for Donny’s partner Kym Johnson.

The star with a strong fan base won the competition, took his family on-stage and hoisted the trophy with his professional dancing partner Kym Johnson.
