UPDATE: Here is the RECAP of The Office Double Date:
Jim and Pam) have constantly tried to avoid going out with Michael and Helene, Pam’s mother, but are forced to go out to lunch together since the occasion is Helene’s birthday. When Pam sees that her mother is happy with Michael, she ultimately warms up to the thought of them dating. However, when Michael learns that Helene is turning 58 and has already done so much, Michael points out their differences, saying he still wants to do certain activities while he’s still able, and breaks up with Helene in front of Jim and Pam.
Back at the office, Michael tries to bribe Pam with a raise to cool her off, but Pam figures out his scheme. When Michael asks Pam what she wants from him, she decides that she wants to hit him in the parking lot with everyone watching, and Michael nervously agrees. In the parking lot, Michael winces at Pam’s attempts to hit him before sincerely apologizing. Pam tells Michael never to date another member of her family again and he agrees. However, when Michael says that Helene came onto him, Pam hits him, but admits to Jim that it didn’t make her feel better.
Meanwhile, Dwight is strangely doing nice things for everyone in the office, such as buying New York bagels for everyone and cleaning out the refrigerator. He is actually trying to get everyone to return the favors by having Jim fired. He gets annoyed when Andy starts doing favors as well like polishing Dwight’s briefcase and buying everyone lunch. Everyone else in the office eventually return Dwight’s favors in the form of a Starbucks gift card, which is not what Dwight was hoping for. At the end of the episode, Dwight is icing Michael after he got hit by Pam, and Michael says he’ll return the favor. When Dwight says he wants Michael to fire Jim, Michael refuses.
