It’s another round of Champions League matches after yesterday’s exciting match ups and results. This time, it’s the turn of the other half of the round of 32 as the group stage gets ready to wrap up with only one more round of matches after this one.

Chelsea visits FC Porto for their Champions League match up later today in a no bearing encounter. Both clubs have already qualified for the round of sixteen by virtue of their impressive standing in Group D – Chelsea in the lead with 10 points followed by Porto with 9. The other two teams in the group are well
behind with Atletico Madrid having 2 points and APOEL with 1.

So what can we expect in this encounter? Didier Drogba, Salomon Kalou and Nicolas Anelka have all scored two goals apiece in their previous four matches and has only allowed two goals. The means their defense hasn’t missed a beat since Jose Bosingwa went down with a knee injury. Overall, Chelsea hasn’t lost in their last seven matches and looks formidable coming into this one. While Porto also has demonstrated good defense in their past games, expect Chelsea to win this one even if it’s ONLY for pride and bragging rights.
