Besiktas desperately needs a win. With three matches played in Group B of its Champions League group stage campaign so far, the Turkish club is still looking for win number 1. Languishing in the bottom of the standings with just one point to its credit, it may just get its first win tomorrow against Wolfsburg. Though it drew its previous match with German football club (that’s where it got it’s only point in the standings), its home record against European opponents gives it much hope for a win. Besiktas will host a capacity crowd at the Inonu Stadium, where the hosts have won eight of their last nine European fixtures.

Wolfsburg, on the other hand, is doing relatively well in the Champions League. It is placed second to front-runner Manchester United in the standings and has high hope of qualifying in the last sixteen, on its maiden voyage to the Champions League at that! But this will rest on how they will perform in the coming matches a third placed CSKA Moscow is just a point behind.

Possible starters for Besiktas: Recber – Toraman, Sivok, Ferrari, Koybasi – Ernst, Fink – Kahveci, Y.Simsek, Tello – Bobo.

Possible starters for Wolfsburg: Benaglio – Riether, Madlung, Costa, Schaefer – Josue – Dejagah, Gentner – Misimovic – Martins, Dzeko.
