Arsenal visits the Stadium of Light this weekend for another English Premier League match this time with Sunderland. The gunners are enjoying a successful run in the League this season despite its share injuries. It is currently second in the EPL table just five points behind leaders Chelsea but with a game in hand.

It will be a tall order to beat Arsenal for the hosts. After their win over Liverpool a few weeks back, Sunderland have gone three games without a win and they are still without the suspended Kenwyne Jones and Michael Turner while Lee Cattermole remains
unavailable through injury. Meanwhile, their opponents are unbeaten in their last seven Premier League games; in those they have scored 23 goals while conceding just six.

For Sunderland, defender John Mensah (calf) and winger Bolo Zenden (hip) could be back in contention, but center-back Michael Turner is suspended, as is Kenwyne Jones. Arsenal, meanwhile, are now without Van Persie, who joins Gael Clichy, Denilson, Nicklas Bendtner, Theo Walcott and Johan Djourou on the sidelines.

Possible starters for Arsenal: Aluminia; Sagna, Gallas, Vermaelen, Gibbs; Fabregas, Song, Diaby, Rosicky; Eduardo, Arshavin.

Possible starters for Sunderland: Gordon, Bardsley, McCartney, Turner, Da Silva, Malbranque, Richardson, Henderson, Reid, Campbell, Bent.
