Medical drama Private Practice returns this week with a premiere entitled Death in the Family as we witness what is to become of Violet after an attack by one of her patients. Will she make it? And what about her baby? What has happened to it? Season 3 episode 1 (s03e01) continues. After Pete discovers Violet dying on the floor of her home, having barely survived a violent attack from her patient, Katie, he rushes her to the hospital where Addison and Naomi fight to save her life, while the whereabouts and condition of Violet’s stolen baby are unknown.[5] Meanwhile, flashbacks recall Pete and Violet’s first meeting, which took place following the death of his wife.
