I have never seen such disrespect from someone at an awards event. This is, by far, the worst and most insulting gesture that I have seen. But can you expect anything less from Kanye West? The guy is a total jackass! It’s a good thing he didn’t win. He does not deserve our votes. And I don’t think he will get many votes for what he did to Taylor Swift.

In the Best Female Video category, it was declared that Taylor Swift won for You Belong To Me over Beyonce’s Single Ladies, among others. This was a surprise as I, along with many others, thought that
Beyonce would definitely win this one. But that’s how the voters voted and we have to accept the results. But no, not the jackass of the music industry! Kanye West then interrupts Taylor Swift’s VMA speech! Yup, Kanye West grabs the mic from Taylor Swift in mid-speech and said that Beyonce’s Single Ladies should have won!

“Hey Taylor, I’m really happy for you, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.”

OMG, I felt for taylor SWift right then and there. She was humiliated in front of millions. But she kept her composure and continued when Kanye was finished. The audience booed him and gave Taylor Swift a standing ovation.

They should thrown Kanye West out of the event. And they should not let him in any future event. If he does not agree with the results of these awards, then he should just keep quiet. Or better yet, give awards himself. He can name it the WHAT THE JACKASS THINKS Awards and the first one should be given to himself! A lifetime achievement!

It’s a good thing Beyonce gave Taylor another chance. When she accepted her trophy for the Video of the Year, she called Taylor on stage to have her moment uninterrupted.

“Wow, this is amazing,” Beyonce said when receiving her award. “I remember being 17-years-old and up for my first MTV award with Destiny’s Child. It was one of the most exciting moments in my life. So, I’d like for Taylor to come out and have her moment.” Kudos to Beyonce for that gesture.
