Flash Forward premiere episode 1 (pilot): No More Good Days
Another new show is set to premiere this week – Flash Forward, a science-fiction television series based on the novel by Robert J. Sawyer. With the impending end of Lost next season, ABC hopes to capture the science-fiction audience with Flash Forward. Here is more about this new series: “Flash chronicles the chaos that ensues after everyone in the world passes out for 2 minutes and 17 seconds and has a vision of the future. It centers on newly sober Mark Banford (Joseph Fiennes), an FBI agent who is patching up his life and marriage. Walger will play Mark’s wife, Olivia, who is disturbed by her vision of being in love
with another man.”
Will this be a good successor to Lost? We’ll find out soon enough when it airs this week. Watch out for the premiere episode of Flash Forward, season 1 episode 1. Watch the online videos of Flash Forward episode 1 (pilot, No More good Days) below, and its story summary. Watch out for more in the coming days.
A mysterious global event causes everyone on the planet to simultaneously experience, for two minutes and seventeen seconds, his or her life six months in the future. When it is over, many are dead in accidents involving vehicles, aircraft, and any other device needing human control. Everyone who survived is left wondering if what they saw will actually happen.
A Los Angeles FBI agent named Mark Benford (Joseph Fiennes) tries to figure out what exactly happened and why it happened. Along with his team, he creates a database of people’s flash forwards from around the world called the Mosaic Collective (for which a website has been launched). Apart from the various catastrophic visions, people also see themselves relapsing into various former vices, such as Benford seeing himself drinking again, and his wife Olivia has a vision of herself with another man.
