If there’s one thing that will be remembered from this year’s US Open tennis tournament it will be the Serena Williams outburst. The case is still pending with tennis authorities as of this writing. Though Williams has already been fined for her behavior, sanctions are still being deliberated upon. And, as the tournament drew to a close with the men’s final, another incident occurred, though it should be noted that this one was not as intense as Serena’s. A rare Roger Federer outburst (video below). Roger Federer cursed at the umpire after he noticed that his opponent was being allowed to challenge calls after
a longer period of time.

“I wasn’t allowed to challenge after two seconds. The guy takes like 10 every time,” Federer complained. But this was set aside by the umpire and the Swiss champion was told to keep quiet. “You have any rules? Don’t tell me to be quiet, ok? When I want to talk I’ll talk, all right…I don’t give a shit what he said, ok?”

Ok, I know this is quite tame compared to many other outbursts by other players but the reason this is making the news is because it involves Roger Federer, a players known to be cool and quiet on the court. Federer always lets his tennis do the talking but this time, frustration may have gotten the better of him
