In this week’s Heroes installment, a character makes a comeback. Tracy Strauss, one of the triplet sisters of Nikki and Barbara, is ready to take her old job back now that Danko is dead. Earthquake, SAMOA tsunami; warnings in Hawaii, California

Another major catastrophe has struck the Pacific after a major earthquake struck the Samoan Islands at 6:48 AM yesterday (local time) after which a tsunami struck the American territory causing widespread damage. President Barack Obama has declared a major disaster in the Territory of American Samoa, according to a White House press release. The president also ordered federal aid to supplement recovery efforts.
According to reports, towering waves struck the island and swept people and property, flattening villages. People and cars were swept into the sea
by the big waves while others fled to higher ground trying to avoid a second wave that might follow. Many remained there for hours fearful that another tsunami might strike.
Due to the magnitude of the earthquake, tsunami warnings were issued in Hawaii, California, Japan and even as far as Hawaii. But these tsunami warnings were later cancelled. The quake, which reached a depth of 20 miles, is not expected to generate a tsunami that would reach the west coast of the United States or Canada.

Michael Jackson movie, THIS IS IT, tickets now on SALE!

THIS IS IT is coming to a theater near you. The movie is built around the King of Pop’s rehearsals for his London concerts. This Is It offers a behind-the-scenes footage of Michael preparing for a series of shows at the famed O2 Arena in London. He was rehearsing when he died on June 25. It compiles more than one hundred hours of video footage concert promoter AEG Live shot during April, May and June 2009. Directed by Kenny Ortega, the King of Pop’s documentary movie will be released in theaters across the world for a limited two-week engagement starting on October 28.
And now, Sony Pictures are making tickets available to Michael Jackson’s fans for the limited two-week run of the movie. But with the clamor for more tickets increasing (Los Angeles tickets have reportedly been sold out in a matter of two hours), I think they may have to extend the movie’s theater run to accommodate the King of Pop’s fans. This is, after all, the King of Pop’s last performances before he died on June 25.
Michael Jackson’s THIS IS IT movie tickets sale is going fast. Hurry, the THIS IS IT Michael Jackson tickets are on sale through thisisit-movie.com, the official ticket sale website. Scalpers, definitely, are buying the tickets fast to sell them to you at a much higher price later. Wanna eat Chinese PEARS shaped like BABIES?( VIDEO)

Asian farmers are known to be hardworking and ingenious and this was proven once again. A Chinese farmer grew pears shaped like babies. Yup, you read it right. Pears shaped like babies! Hao Xianzhang has made big money out this unique venture but it was not easy at first. People laughed when he started growing the uniquely shaped fruits. People were laughing at him and told him he was wasting his time. But he had the last laugh when the fruits sold pretty well and
there were orders for more.
How did he do it? According to the article of Reuters, he ingeniously attached baby-shaped fiberglass and plastic molds to young pears for six months. The pears grew into them and, voila, pears shaped like babies can be harvested in no time. This was the same method employed by Japanese framers who produced cube-shaped watermelons so that they can be stacked easily. Clever, huh?
“People called me crazy. They said I was whimsical and it was impossible to grow baby-shaped fruits. They told me to stop wasting my time and money,” said Hao, who has sold nearly all the 18,000 pears he has cultivated for a hefty 50 yuan ($7) a piece.
So they’re a good business venture. But on the consumers’ side, how can anyone eat anything shaped like a baby? I can’t imagine putting a knife into that fruit, much less biting into it and chewing it.

watch Eastwick episode 2 online s01e02: Reaping and Sewing

In Eastwick’s second installment of the season, Roxanne, Joanna and Kat continue to be drawn to each other and to unleash powers they never knew they had, thanks to Darryl who secretly manipulate them. As the their lives continue in this quit town, the three women discover more about their surroundings and the many issues that continue to unfold before them, while Darryl watches in the background. Entitled Reaping and Sewing, season 1 episode 2 (s01e02) involves the following: “As Kat gathers the courage to break free from her unhealthy marriage to Raymond, Roxie tries to protect her daughter from a hounding
