This has been hot topic on the web for the past several days after news broke out of the murder of swimsuit model Jasmine Fiore. Her body was discovered stuffed in a suitcase and dumped in a trash bin in Buena Park, California. The suspect? Ryan Jenkins, the Megan Wants a Millionaire killer? And why is Ryan Jenkins the Megan Wants a Millionaire killer? Well, because he was a contestant on the reality show. A 32-year-old investment banker, Ryan Jenkins (sometimes billed as Brian Jenkins) joined the reality competition earlier this year and appears in three episodes. The production was completed in March, long before
the crime was allegedly committed, and it began airing on August 2, 2009.

As a result of Ryan’s alleged involvement in the crime and the controversy it has created for the reality show, VH1 has announced that it will stop airing “Megan Wants A Millionaire” until further notice. In a statement, the network said, “Given the unfortunate circumstances, VH1 has postponed any future airings. This is a tragic situation and our thoughts go out to the victim’s family.”

Ryan Jenkins is also a contestant of VH1’s other show “I Love Money” season 3 set to air in January 2010. I Love Money 3 was to be a follow up to the previous seasons of the show. The contestants were to be selected from other VH1 reality shows such as Rock of Love, Real Chance of Love, Daisy of Love, For the Love of Ray J, as well as Megan Wants a Millionaire. Reportedly, VH1 has postponed any showings of season three due to cast member Ryan Jenkins’ possible involvement in the murder of model Jasmine Fiore. It was reported that Ryan Jenkins won I Love Money 3 and went to the 51 Minds office to request an early cut of the $250,000 check just days after Jasmine’s death, but was denied. On August 20, 2009, Ryan Jenkins was charged with the murder Jasmine Fiore.
