live coverage scheduleLooking for the Wimbledon TV schedule 2009 for Australia? The LIVE coverage from the All England Club starts Monday is what promises to be another exciting two-week championship.

The biggest Grand Slam of the season starts in a few hours with a field of tennis players each seeking to bring home the most-coveted trophy in the sport. Who will win this year? The women’s side, though lacking a dominant force the past seasons, has a roster of talented players – some seeking to add to their past Wimbledon glory and others seeking
their first. The Williams sisters look strong as ever with Venus seeking to prolong her reign as the queen of the All England Club with a possible sixth (and third consecutive) crown. Younger sister Serena looks as fierce as ever, ready to avenge her loss to older sister Venus last year. Svetlana Kuznetsova, on the other hand, would just love to win here too after conquering the clay courts of Roland Garros barely two weeks ago. And then there’s Dinara Safina, the current world number 1 and winless in Grand Slam singles as of yet despite several finals appearances. Will Safina win this year? There only one way top find out and that’s by watching the live television (TV) coverage of Wimbledon 2009. The Australian TV schedule is posted below.

It’s the men’s side which become more exciting for Wimbledon 2009. Will Roger Federer win Wimbledon and eclipse Pete Sampras’ record for the most Grand Slam wins? After winning the French Open earlier, the Swiss ace seems to be on another gear as he tries to recoup his All England glory doused by Rafael Nadal last year. With Nadal out due to injury, Federer is the top sentimental favorite. But British hope Andy Murray seems all set to fight for the crown last won by British man in 1936.

The competition starts Monday. Check you TV schedules for the live coverahe from the All England Club.
