Who won The Biggest Loser season 7 last night? No other than Helen Phillips! Yup, Phillips is the winner of The Biggest Loser season 7 (Couples 2) besting Tara Costa and Mike Morelli, as well as the other heavyweights, and winning $250,000.00!

In the three-hour season finale, we were shown footage of the different Biggest Loser contestants/hjopefuls to find out how the eliminated ones are doing after their stint in the reality show. Part of the program was also dedicated to finding the third finalist who would be joining Helen and Tara. Would it be Ron Morelli or his son Mike Morelli in the final three. By virtue of votes from the viewers, it was Mike who was chosen to compete with Tara Costa and Helen Phillips.

Helen Phillips entered The Biggest Loser season 7 with her 29-year-old daughter Shanon Thomas. She started with 257 pounds and was trained by Bob before switching to Jillian. She lost a total of 103 pounds while in campus and advanced through after winning an immunity challenge. At the end of the competition, Helen Phillips lost a total of 140 pounds which is 54.47% of her total original body weight. Tara Costa started the competition weighing 294 lbs. She lost 155 lbs, for a total percentage of weight loss of 52.72%. Her current weight is 139 lbs. Mike Morelli, on the other hand, started with The Biggest Loser weighing 388 lbs. He lost a total of 207 lbs. and currently weighs 181 lbs. That’s a total percentage of weight loss was 53.35%.

Helen Phillips was not the only winner on The Biggest Loser finale last night. Jerry Hayes also won $100,000 for shedding the most weight from among the eliminated contestants who were expected to continue the program.
