Looking for the results of the Preakness Stakes 2009? Eager to watch the video replay of Rachel Alexandra’s win at the Preakness Stakes? Look no furhter because we have thw video right here, detailing the emphatic win of the filly, the first filly to win the Preakness Stakes in 85 years.
As the video results clearly show, it was a masterful and worthy win for Rachel Alexandra. She shot to the front at the start and wasn’t seriously challenged until a late surge by Kentucky Derby winner Mine That Bird. She led by a head at the quarter and
half-mile poles. She stretched it to a half-length at the three-quarters pole. She was ahead by four lengths going down the stretch. In the end, Rachel Alexandra, the 9-5 favorite, won by a length in her first race against the big boys.
But it was a hard-fought win. Her first challenge was to get rid of Big Drama, a persistent presence from inside down the backside and into the final turn. Once she shook him loose and opened up the four-length lead at the top of the stretch, Mine That Bird made a run at her. And it looked like he would catch up. But her ran out of turf. The lead of Rachel Alexandra was too big to overcome. In the end, the Derby winner’s surge was not enough, or too late.

who won Biggest Loser 7 (Couples 2): Helen Phillips is the winner

Who won The Biggest Loser season 7 last night? No other than Helen Phillips! Yup, Phillips is the winner of The Biggest Loser season 7 (Couples 2) besting Tara Costa and Mike Morelli, as well as the other heavyweights, and winning $250,000.00!
In the three-hour season finale, we were shown footage of the different Biggest Loser contestants/hjopefuls to find out how the eliminated ones are doing after their stint in the reality show. Part of the program was also dedicated to finding the third finalist who would be joining Helen and Tara. Would it be Ron Morelli or his son Mike Morelli in the final three. By virtue of votes from the viewers, it was Mike who was chosen to compete with Tara Costa and Helen Phillips.
Helen Phillips entered The Biggest Loser season 7 with her 29-year-old daughter Shanon Thomas. She started with 257 pounds and was trained by Bob before switching to Jillian. She lost a total of 103 pounds while in campus and advanced through after winning an immunity challenge. At the end of the competition, Helen Phillips lost a total of 140 pounds which is 54.47% of her total original body weight. Tara Costa started the competition weighing 294 lbs. She lost 155 lbs, for a total percentage of weight loss of 52.72%. Her current weight is 139 lbs. Mike Morelli, on the other hand, started with The Biggest Loser weighing 388 lbs. He lost a total of 207 lbs. and currently weighs 181 lbs. That’s a total percentage of weight loss was 53.35%.
Helen Phillips was not the only winner on The Biggest Loser finale last night. Jerry Hayes also won $100,000 for shedding the most weight from among the eliminated contestants who were expected to continue the program.

Dial Idol predictions, May 13, 2009: who will be voted off tonight?

Who will get voted off on American Idol tonight (May 13, 2009)? What are the Dial Idol results? What are Dial Idol’s predictions for tonight’s American Idol eliminations? We’re in the homestretch of American Idol season 8 and just about at this time everybody gets nervous, especially with only three contestants remaining and one is about to get voted off.
Dial Idol to the rescue! Dial Idol has been a good help in predicting the results of these situations. By measuring the busy signal during the voting period of American Idol, they statistically predict the outcome of the voting. It was 97% accurate in its predictions on who would be voted off during American Idol season 7. Moreover, Dial Idol has accurately predicted every American Idol winner for every season it has covered. With a track record like that, it’s easy to understand why so many Idol fans are relying on its predictions.
For this season, the competition is too tough. Adam Lambert was touted to be unbeatable until he landed in the bottom three two weeks ago. And now that he, Kris Allen and Danny Gokey seem to be locked in a fierce battle for the top two spots, it’s Dial Idol to the rescue once again.

So without much further ado, here are the results of Dial Idol’s “snooping”: It’s too close to call. Though Adam Lambert is leading with a Dial Idol score of 29.55 vs Kris Allen’s 27.99 and Danny Gokey’s 27.1, the margin for error for scores as close as these are big. But the trend seems to be going in Lambert’s favor. Let’s just wait for the final announcement tonight to see if Dial Idol is right again.

Video: Lost season 5 finale, The Incident; Lost episode s05e17

Are you looking for the Lost season 5 finale video, The Incident? Season 5 is finally over and we are faced with another finale that will provide answers to our questions but, at the same time, yield more mysteries and questions. Lost “The Incident” is airing tonight and I am sure many of you are eagerly awaiting this two-hour finale episode. From online spoilers, here are some hints on what will happen: Jack Shephard’s decision to put a plan in action in order to set things right on the island is met with some strong resistance by those close to him, and John Locke assigns Ben Linus a difficult task. Moreover, a death of a major character is in the offing. Who will it be? Let’s all find out tomorrow when the Lost
season 5 finale, The Incident, airs.
Update: Here are more spoilers from the fan pages of Lost, “The Incident”:
While one (or some) are leaving, many will also return, from the death. Michael Emerson, who plays Ben, had confirmed “We see some people from the past. It keeps us speculating why certain people seem to be holding on and revisiting the living in some interesting ways.” One of these ‘ghosts’ is most probably Sayid’s wife Nadia who was tragically murdered.
Additionally, sightings of the younger versions of Kate, Sawyer, and Juliet will also be in the finale along with the final revelation of the Goliath four-toed statue. “She’s Taweret, the goddess of childbirth,” Michael mentioned previously.

watch Fringe finale: Fringe season 1 episode 20 online video

Are you looking for the Fringe season 1 finale video online? There has been so much that has happened since Fringe season 1 premiered twenty episodes ago and now we are faced with a finale that provides more questions than answers. And rumors are more mysteries await in season 2. For those of you who missed the Fringe finale episode on television, here is a recap of what happened:

Nina Sharp recovers from her attack and reveals to the Fringe division that an energy cell was stolen from her mechanical arm by Jones, which he intends to
use to open a doorway into a parallel reality to confront William Bell. Meanwhile, Peter finds Walter at a beach house where they retrieve a device that can seal such an opening. Walter explains to Peter that he once lost something very dear to him and that he had to go and bring it back from another reality, the device being meant to prevent something from following him. Olivia, Peter and Walter intercept Jones opening another window, and Peter triggers Walter’s device, killing Jones by sealing the doorway while only half of him is through it. At the end of the episode, Walter goes alone to visit a graveyard in which he tearfully observes a gravestone marked “Peter Bishop 1978-1985″, suggesting that Walter’s son died and that Peter is actually from the other reality. Nina Sharp later calls Olivia and implies to her that she can meet William Bell in Manhattan. Olivia is taken to the alternate reality while riding the elevator and is directed to an office. A copy of the New York Post on the table has a headline stating that President Obama is set to move into the “new White House.” She is greeted by William Bell (Leonard Nimoy). The final shot pans out the window revealing that they are standing inside the South Tower of the World Trade Center.

Chris Daughtry “No Surprise” on American Idol 5/6 (video)

Chris Daughtry and his band was one of the performers at last night’s American Idol performing their latest single “No Surpsie”. Watch the video of their performance below. Alongside Chris Daughtry, Paula Abdul also performed her latest single “(I’m Just) Here for the Music” as well as No Doubt with their lead singer Gwen Stefani.
It was elimination night on American Idol last night as we said goodbye to Allison Iraheta. Allison was voted off after receiving the least number of votes from the viewers. Included in the bottom half of the four finalists was Danny Gokey. At first I thought it was going to be Gokey who would say goodbye to us as his performance of Aerosmith’s “Dream On” was awful. But the viewers
had other ideas. Gokey joins Adam Lambert and Kris Allen in the American Idol Top 3 for 2009.
The three finalists go home to their respective hometowns this week before returning to perform two songs for the judges next week. I hope to see Kris Allen and Adam Lambert in the finals. How about you?

watch Scrubs season finale online / Scrubs “My Finale”

Is Scrubs over? Will tonight’s episode be the season finale or the series finale? Though nothing has been confirmed yet, that’s what it looks like as many of the shows stars are leaving after this season. Zach Braff has confirmed he will leave the series after the 8th season, although this will not necessarily end the show. Judy Reyes, like Braff, has also decided to leave Scrubs after season 8 so she can move on to films and probably Broadway. Bill Lawrence will leave the show as well. Whatever happens, tonight’s Scrubs season finale will be a highly-anticipated episode. Entitled “My Finale”, here are a few details about the episode: J.D. plans to say goodbye to Sacred Heart, but will his final day stand up to his fantasy of scoring a hug from Dr. Cox or learning the Janitor’s real name? Meanwhile, when
random furnishings from Elliot’s apartment turn up in J.D.’s place, it becomes clear that she finally plans to take their relationship to a whole new level.

The Rev. Father Alberto Cutie has fallen from grace. Also known as Father Oprah because of his radio and television talk shows, Father Alberto Cutie has been stripped of his priestly duties and forbidden from saying mass as a result of a scandal involving photos of him cavorting and kissing a woman on a beach in Miami.
Rev. Father Alberto Cutie’s controversial beach photos were first published in Spanish magazine TV Notas a few days ago. It shows the telegenic and handsome priest in various compromising positions on the beach with an unidentified woman. The scandal
immediately caught the attention of church hierarchy and as a result, Father Cutie (what a name!) has been disciplined and put on leave by Archbishop John C. Favalora. Rev, Alberto Cutie gained fame with his television debut in 1999 as the host of Padre Alberto, a daily talk show televised on the Telemundo. He also published a self-help book Real Life, Real Love in January 2006 which was considered a bestseller in the Spanish language market.
Rev. Alberto Cutie (Father Oprah) has reportedly been sent to an undisclosed location to reflect on his sins. The Archbishop has released the following statement on the issue: “I am deeply saddened by the news surrounding Father Alberto Cutie. Father Cutie made a promise of celibacy and all priests are expected to fulfill that promise. Father Cutie’s actions cannot be condoned despite the good works he has done as a priest.”

Reportedly, more beach photos of Rev Father Alberto Cutie (Father Oprah) will be published in the coming days. The paparazzi photos will be featured in an 8-page spread on TV Notas that will further show his indiscretions. “Father Oprah” has issued the following public apology: “I ask the forgiveness of those who may be hurt or saddened by my actions. The commitment I made to serve God will remain intact. I am grateful for the love and support I have received from so many in the community.”

Paula Abdul Here for the Music on American Idol: Lip Sync?

Paula Abdul performed her new song (I’m Just) Here for the Music on American Idol (video below) last night but was she lip-syncing? Sure looks like it. Paula was part of a number of performers who graced American Idol eliminations last night. The other two were Chris Daughtry and his band singing “No Surprise” and No Doubt with Gwen Stefani singing their 1995 “Just a Girl”.
But the big question in everyone’s mind as they watch the show was, “Was Paula Abdul lip-syncing?” Even Twitter as abuzz with activity on the topic. Here are some of their comments:

I agree that Paula was indeed lip-syncing. But then again, she was never known as a good vocalist so I guess we shouldn’t be surprised. In fact, I think most of her performances during her heyday were lip-synced. I wonder what Simon thinks of Paula’s performance?
